Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 during an acting workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of the same year. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her role on television as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen on the television show Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good news that she had become pregnant on the set of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she is ready to resume her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on the social networks.
