Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1997 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise by music journalists and press. She has previously released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis for a Christmas advertisement from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway from her side, has given the song a boost of recognition. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement, and becoming enthralled by the sounds it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than a profession. So she started her own compositions. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. After her mother said that the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her rather to help people to see the importance of their work and influence in this world, she began performing them publicly. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. The family did not know until the age of fourteen. Aurora has never imagined becoming a star. Aurora says she loves to compose music. To her music, it is the most effective way to express anything.
